Over 2 million Vietnamese teachers are in the classroom every day — yet most educational AI resources remain in English, are incompatible with the Ministry of Education and Training’s curriculum, and are too complex to implement in real-world classrooms. Large class sizes and high student-to-teacher ratios prevent teachers from personalizing learning paths or closely monitoring each student.
OctoAI solves this exact problem: a 24/7 AI teaching assistant that speaks Vietnamese and understands the local curriculum — helping teachers save time on lesson planning, automatically generate quizzes, and create personalized learning paths.

Callout: The only users are teachers—but they are not a homogeneous group: a rural teacher with 20 years of traditional teaching experience and an urban teacher accustomed to using smartphones have completely different expectations regarding technology. The design must work for both.

Start with UX research to map out the real pain points of Vietnamese teachers before touching any UI. From the research, build user personas, journey storyboards, and user flows—all documented in Figma before creating wireframes.
👩🏫 Nguyen Thi Huong — High School Teacher Has taught traditionally for many years, wants to innovate but lacks time to learn complex tools. Needs a solution to save time on lesson planning, automate quizzes and lesson plans — but it must be simple enough to use immediately, without training. Low to moderate tech literacy.
Core design challenge: How can a tech-novice teacher adopt an AI platform within the first few minutes—and continue using it daily without feeling overwhelmed?
1. The AI platform must feel like a personal assistant—not a tool Teachers don’t want to “learn how to use AI.” The UX must hide the complexity—a conversational entry point, clear output, and no technical jargon.
2. The visual identity must be both trustworthy and approachable Teachers are a conservative audience when it comes to trust—they need the feeling of a “legitimate tool.” But if it’s too corporate, it becomes intimidating. We need to find the middle ground: professional yet warm.
